Washington State Community Connectors has extended the application deadline for the Community Outreach Coordinator contract position until Friday, July 14th.

Responsibilities for this position include developing relationships with behavioral health community leaders and serving as the organization’s liaison with various constituents around the state, providing or arranging training and technical support for family led community organizations, participating in organizational committees including the planning committees for events, maintaining accurate activity and financial records, and communicating with both the family-led community and system partners through written updates and reports. While this is not a peer support or parent partner position, we are looking for applicants who have lived experience raising a child with complex behavioral health needs.

Our focus is on improving the availability and impact of children’s behavioral health services by supporting family led community organizations and facilitating partnerships between these organization and the behavioral health systems that serve their communities.
